A tough night on the power-play cost the Regina Pats on Tuesday, who lost 2-1 at the Brandt Centre to the Swift Current Broncos.
The game was originally scheduled for November 8th, but was moved to Tuesday night after ice issues at the Brandt Centre.
The Pats (3-12-2-0) went 0-6 on the man advantage, with Zack Smith scoring the teams loan goal in the second.
Goaltending Coach Rob Muntain said more shots needed to be directed on net.
“We preached on them after the second period to get more pucks on net and up high, we just continued not to do it,” he said.
The Pats will be home to Calgary Wednesday night in what will be their last game at the Brandt Centre until after Agribition, the next home game will be December 7th against Red Deer.
Puck drop tonight against the Hitmen is 7:00 p.m. on 620 CKRM.
