Goals from Austin Pratt and Ty Kolle weren’t enough, as the Regina Pats fell 4-2 to Calgary at the Brandt Centre Wednesday night.

Kolle, who notched his 8th of the season in the second period said a quick start and lots of scoring chances throughout the game is a step in the right direction.

“It was great to start off with a goal and obviously get another one, I think we created a lot of offense tonight, our whole team did, but it just wasn’t enough,” Kolle said after the game.

Kolle said while losing is not fun they need to focus on moral victories right now.

“It’s a tough loss but I think we did really well with the small details and just the systematic stuff I think we got the job done, but obviously it sucks to fall to these guys,” he said.

The Pats (3-14-2-0) will now head out on the road for seven straight with Agribition taking over the Evraz grounds and Brandt Centre next week.

Game one will be in Swift Current Friday night, puck drop is 7:00 p.m. on 620 CKRM.
