Yesterday, police say a man at a business in Regina said a woman raised a long bladed utility knife when he asked her to stop approaching his three year old son.
The 51-year-old man asked the woman to stop approaching his son at a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. yesterday.
When he did that, the woman pulled out a wide-bladed utility knife and raised it at him.
She left in a cab and police tracked her down and arrested her.
Jaylene Laliberte, 28 from Saskatoon, is charged with assault with a weapon. She was released on conditions and will appear in court October 17th.
