It’s expected north Albert Street will be lined with Reginans looking to get a glimpse of Santa Claus on Sunday afternoon.

The annual Santa Claus Parade gets underway at noon.

This year’s parade will start at Albert and 2nd Avenue North at the Wheaton Kia lot and make its way north up Albert Street to the Northgate Mall.

Once the parade is over, Santa will be in the mall to take pictures with children being encouraged to bring their letters to Santa with them to the parade as Canada Post officials will pick them up.

Albert Street from 2nd Avenue North to the Northgate Mall will be closed in both directions during the parade. Anyone normally using that route on a Sunday will have to find a different path.
