Labour Day Rivalry– Today will mark the 57th edition of the Labour Day Classic in Regina. During that time, the Riders have the edge at 37-19.

Don’t Plan an Early Exit- Of the 57 Labour Day Classics, 31 of them have been decided in the final three minutes.

Working over the Holiday– Zach Collaros will be making his 6th career start over the Labour Day weekend on Sunday. The Bombers quarterback has a record of 5-1 with 1,571 yards passing and 11 touchdowns during that time.

Green Day– Since 2005, the Riders have dominated the Labour Day Classic, with the green and white holding a 14-2 advantage over the blue and gold.

A Win to Clinch– The Winnipeg Blue Bombers could clinch a playoff spot with a victory today and if they do so, it would tie the earliest playoff clincher for the franchise since 2001.

Six in a Row– A playoff spot for the Bombers would tie a club record for making the playoffs in six consecutive seasons.

Fighting Underdog. In the history of the Labour Day Classic, the Bombers have entered the weekend with the better record than the Riders 30 times. Of those 30 matchups during the Labour Day weekend, the Riders hold advantage in the head to head  matchups with a record of 19-11.

Tight D. Winnipeg’s defence leads the CFL points allowed as they average 19.2 points a game. Saskatchewan is third at 23.5 points a game.

A Difference on Second Down Conversion.  The Bombers lead the league in second down conversions at 54.3% while Saskatchewan is last in the league at 40.5%.
