Police have one of two people they were looking for in custody after an incident on the Witchekan Lake First Nation, north of Spiritwood.

Police put out a “dangerous persons” alert Sunday morning, after gunfire was reported on the first nation.  Not long after police announced they were looking for two people, 22 year old Kelly Witchekan and 33 year old Melvin Starblanket.

Police announced this morning that Witchekan has been found in Saskatoon.  Starblanket is still on the loose.  He has black hair and brown eyes, and is 5’9” and 160 lbs.

Police have released very few details about what happened on the first nation yesterday morning, but did cancel the “dangerous persons” alert this morning.
