A senior CN Rail official says it will be two to three weeks before grain shipments are caught up from the 8-day strike, which ended on Tuesday.
CN executive vice president Sean Finn says grain shipments are returning to normal after being cut by 90 per-cent on CN during the strike.
Finn says CN Rail was able to move 7 grain trains to port during the 8 day strike.
Finn says the grain backlog should be cleared in two to three weeks unless there is a severe dump of snow.
