Moderna’s bivalent booster can be had in Saskatchewan starting Monday

Residents at high risk for the Omicron variant of Covid-19 can get the Moderna bivalent booster dose in Saskatchewan starting Monday.
All Saskatchewan residents 70 and older and all residents 50 and older who are in First Nation and Metis communities and in the Northern Service Administration District are eligible.
People will have needed to get at least two primary doses to receive this booster.
To book your bivalent booster, check with the Saskatchewan Health Authority or a nearby pharmacy.
The province said additional age groups will be eligible to receive the bivalent vaccine as supply is received by the province. Any program expansion will be announced publicly and is anticipated in early October.

“COVID-19’s Omicron variants are transmitting in the province.  Receiving all doses you are eligible for improves your protection against serious illness,” the provincial health authority said in a release.
