Speeding ticket of almost $600 issued to transport truck driver in Regina

According to a tweet from the Regina Police, a transport truck traveling near Regina was issued a speeding ticket that cost almost $600.

This commercial operator was clocked at 100 km/h when passing an emergency vehicle with its lights in operation on Highway 39.

The fine was $570.

The Regina Police are reminding people to slow to 60 km/h when passing emergency vehicles & tow trucks unless it’s a divided highway and you’re not on the same side.
