REAL providing some tips ahead of “Saskatchewan’s Night Out” with Brett Kissel

Brett Kissel is set to perform three shows Saturday night at the Brandt Centre parking lot for “Saskatchewan’s Night Out.”

Regina Exhibition Association spokesperson Sabeen Ahmad  says vehicles will both enter and exit out of Lewvan Gate.

“When you’re coming in to the parking lot, there will be parking attendants that will be guiding you to where you can park and set up your vehicle for the show,” Ahmad said. “We’re following all of the (Saskatchewan Health Authority) guidelines for a drive-in event that we’re putting on, so there will be no concession or drinks for sale that night.”

Ahmad says vehicles will need to be parked five metres apart.

“If you are getting out of your vehicle, you have to stay within an arm’s length of your vehicle,” Ahmad said. “I know a lot of people want to do the tailgating thing, get in the back of their truck when they come see the show, you are more than welcome to do that, just make sure you are within an arm’s reach of your vehicle.”

Ahmad says there could be a couple of times where vehicles will be both entering and exiting the venue at the same time.

“I know a lot of people are thinking — because it’s general admission — when you’re coming in for the 7:00 or 10:00 show, you can certainly come in a bit earlier, and there will be a bit of a holding parking lot in the Canada Centre parking lot,” Ahmad said. “Parking attendants will make sure you’re held in order of arrival, and then you’ll be guided in to when you’re ready to park for the next show.”

All three shows have sold-out. However, 620 CKRM will carry the 7:00 PM concert live from the Brandt Centre Saturday night.
