Regina police have charged a man with several offences including attempted murder after a call Saturday morning where police were sent to a home after receiving a report of a man who could not be controlled that was hurting people.

Police say several people were inside the home with three people getting injured after the alleged assault.  One was taken to hospital in serious condition with a head injury.

The man, who is not being named, faces two counts of assault, one count of common assault and attempted murder.

The investigation continues.
