The Ministry of Health and the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency have issued a boil water advisory for the community of Roche Percee.

The Ministry of t Health says there are harmful bacteria in the water, and it should be boiled for at least one minute before using it for drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, or brushing your teeth.

Its not clear how the water became contaminated with the bacteria, or what steps are being taken to address it.

In the meantime, the boil water advisory will remain in effect for Roche Percee, and anyone who gets water from that village.
