Regina starts flooding outdoor skating rinks

The City of Regina started flooding the outdoor skating rinks on Tuesday.

Every year, the city offers 50 outdoor rinks across the city and six shinny sites.

City Hall believes this is an essential service and that skating is part of what people do in this climate.

The city says all the rinks should be ready for December 20th and stay open until the end of Family Day week, depending on the weather.
