Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mixed across the province during the past week.

Provincial cattle specialist Fonda Froats says prices for feeder steers ranged from 316 dollars per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 228 dollars 38 cents for the over 900 pound category.

For feeder heifers, prices ranged from 249 dollars 38 cents per for the 300 to 400 pound weight category to 219 dollars 50 cents for the over 800 pound weight category.

More than 68 hundred head of cattle were sold in Saskatchewan last week, down from from 11 thousand 600 head the previous week.
