Those who use Regina Transit will get a couple of more days of riding for free.

Fares were to start being collected again on Monday, but seeing Regina council did not get to that at its meeting earlier this week, fares will be waived until Thursday as council will rubber-stamp the resumption of fares when they resume their meeting which didn’t get finished earlier this week next Tuesday.

Those who use the bus are asked to continue using the rear doors for entering and exiting the bus until fares are once again needed.

Reginans have been able to ride the bus for free since the pandemic stated in March.
