Extreme cold warnings continue in northern Sask.

Bitter cold is expected to continue in northern Saskatchewan throughout Monday.

Environment Canada says extreme cold is forecasted for Monday night with wind chill values reaching minus 45 or lower.

The weather agency says you should dress warmly and dress in layers so that you can remove if you get too warm. The outer layer should be wind resistant.

It adds that if it’s too cold for you to stay outside, it’s too cold for your pet to stay outside.
