The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added some depth to the backfield with the signing of running back B.J. Emmons.

Emmons has spent time with the Seattle Seahawks,  Las Vegas Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans in the National Football League over the last two seasons.

The running back spent two seasons with Florida Atlantic University. He had 88 carries for 353 yards and seven touchdowns over nine games.

Prior to that he played at Hutchinson Community College (2017) and the University of Alabama (2016).
