NDP opposition leader Carla Beck announced the critic’s duties a few weeks ahead of the fall session of the Saskatchewan Legislature.
Newly-elected MLA Nathaniel Teed is now the critic for Parks, Culture and Sport, Tourism, SLGA, SaskGaming and SGI.
Trent Wotherspoon stays in finance, Matt Love is in rural and remote health, Aleana Young stays in jobs and the economy as well as Immigration and SaskPower.
Beck, entering her first session as official leader of the Opposition, said that she travelled the province during the summer, putting 30,000 kilometers on her car.
“Whether it’s on main street or shop floors, the messages are the same – Scott Moe’s Sask. Party has given up on helping people and aren’t going to bat on issues Saskatchewan people are facing,” Beck said in a media release. Whether it’s cost-of-living, job creation or our crumbling health system, Scott Moe is missing in action.”
