CN Rail says it is well prepared to move this falls larger prairie crop to market.

The assistant vice president of grain at CN, David Prezednowek says the winter rail plan shows 57 new locomotives, 850 more people, and another 500 high capacity hopper cars for increased grain shipments in coming months.

He says CN has a target of moving almost 600 thousand tons of grain per week in the December to March period

Przednowek says CN expects to move between 25 and 28 million tons of grain to market this crop year, ending next August 1st.
