Riders announce several transactions as players start arriving in Regina for training camp

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will begin training camp on July 10.  Players are starting to arrive in the Queen City for quarantine before hand, but some will not be.

On Saturday, the team announced several moves including the signing of Canadian offensive lineman Carter Comeau. The 6-foot-6 Comeau spent time with the Vanier Cup champion University of Calgary Dinos playing 14 games with the team.

The team also released four players and suspended several others.

  • National defensive back Elie Bouka 
  • American wide receiver Sam Coates 
  • American offensive lineman Takoby Cofield 
  • American quarterback Luke Falk 
  • American defensive lineman Demetrius Harris 
  • American wide receiver Tevin Jones 
  • National offensive lineman Brendon LaBatte 
  • American running back Jeremy Langford 
  • American defensive back Tony Lippett 
  • American defensive back L.J. McCray

Fans will not be allowed to attend the first session of training camp on July 10th, but the team says they will inform everyone if that should change.
