The Regina Pats bounced back on the second game of their three game home stand on Saturday night as they picked up a 4-3 win over the Swift Current Broncos.
The Pats jumped out to a 4-0 lead through the opening 30 minutes of the game and managed to hold off a late charge by the Broncos to hang on for the two points.
Alexander Suzdalev scored a pair of goals for Regina in the win, Tanner Howe and Connor Bedard added single markers.
Bedard added a pair of assists, as he currently leads the WHL in points with 15.
Sam Oremba picked up his first point as a Pat with an assist.
Drew Sim made 25 saves to earn the victory.
The powerplay went for 2/6.
With an even 4-4 record, the Pats will return to action on Wednesday, when they host the Prince Albert Raiders at the Brandt Centre. The game can be heard on 620 CKRM, with the pregame show at 6:35, opening faceoff is 7:00.
