Riders add linebacker

Just before returning from their final bye week, the Saskatchewan Roughriders made a move on Sunday.

The green and white added American linebacker, Alvin Jones Jr.

Jones is no stranger to Riderville after attending the Roughriders training camp earlier this year, he made appearances in both preseason games.

Prior to joining Saskatchewan, Jones Jr. spent time on the Baltimore Ravens practice roster in 2018 & 2019 after signing there as an undrafted free agent.

Collegiately the linebacker spent five years at his hometown University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP)

In a corresponding move, the Roughriders also released defensive back Devin Jones.
