Saskatchewan trade and export development says the economy continues to thrive, with statscan saying wholesale trade jumping almost 74 cent in August compared to the same month a year ago.

Manufacturing sales were up 29 percent.

Trade and Export Development minister Jeremy Harrison says Saskatchewan is poised to further increase exports around the world.

In August, Saskatchewan’s wholesale trade was over four billion dollars, and the value of manufacturing sales was over 2 billion dollars.
