Five new cases of COVID-19 in Sask; 6 new recoveries

There are five new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 881 cases.

Three of the new cases are in the central region, one is in Saskatoon, and one is in the South.

Six more people have recovered from the coronavirus, for a total of 791.

Of the 881 reported cases, 75 are considered active.

Eight people are in hospital around the province, including six people in inpatient care, and two people in intensive care.

 After a spike in cases over the weekend, the provincial government is urging people to remember the basics of preventing the spread of COVID-19, like maintaining physical distance and practicing proper hygiene.
