Snow and cold temperatures bringing winter driving conditions across Sask. Tuesday morning

With snow falling across much of Saskatchewan Tuesday morning, winter driving conditions can be expected through much of the day on some roads and highways.

Highways around both Regina and Moose Jaw are reporting icy slippery sections, and loose swirling snow on the Highway Hotline.

In the city, Regina police have already responded to a handful of collisions.

Snow is expected in Regina for most of the day Tuesday, while below seasonal temperatures are expected to linger at least into the end of the work week.

With a high of just zero on Tuesday, the temperature is about ten degrees below the normal for this time of year in the Queen City.
