Several potential COVID-19 exposures being updated or announced by SHA

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning the public about potential COVID-19 exposures in several communities around Saskatchewan in recent days.

COVID-19 patients visited the following businesses while likely infectious:

Candle Lake

As well, the SHA is correcting a previous COVID-19 exposure warning for the community of Beauval. A person with COVID-19 visited Amy’s Bar and Motel on Oct. 16 from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PPM, and Oct. 17 from 6:00 PM until 2:00 AM on Oct. 18. It was previously announced that these exposures occurred on Oct. 17, 18, and 19.

Anyone who attended these businesses during these dates and times are being asked to self-monitor for symptoms. If symptoms develop, patients are asked to self-isolate immediately and seek a testing referral from HealthLine 811.

The SHA says symptoms can take up to 14 days to develop after exposure.
