It’s still going to be a hot day across much of the province on Friday, but Environment Canada has ended heat warnings from most areas.

Heat Warnings are still in effect for far southeastern Saskatchewan, including Weyburn, Estevan and Carlyle.

Temperatures reaching 32 degrees Celsius combined with overnight lows near 16 degrees Celsius are expected for the next two days.

Estevan and Carlyle regions will see another day of daytime highs in the low 30’s, which is why the heat warning continues.

A cooler airmass will move in on Saturday, and temperatures will return to normal seasonal values which will bring an end to the warning level conditions.
