37 new cases of COVID-19 being reported on Saturday in SK; 29 on hutterite colonies

The provincial total of COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan now stands at 1,136 after 37 new ones were confirmed on Saturday,

23 of the new cases are in the central region with 13 in the south and one in Saskatoon.  There are now 258 active cases.

The province says of the new cases, 29 are from hutterite colonies in the central and south region.

14 people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 862 and 13 are in hospital with four in intensive care—three of those four are in Saskatoon with the other one in Regina.

A total of 89,787 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan. 1,799 tests were done on Friday which are the most tests conducted in one day since testing started.
