Rise in COVID-19 cases in NE Saskatchewan prompt visitor limitations at area hospitals and long-term care homes

Due to an increased number of COVID-19 cases in northeast Saskatchewan, visitor restrictions are being put in place at some health facilties in the region by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

The S-H-A says visitation will be limited in hospitals in Melfort, Tisdale and Nipawin (pictured) with long-term care homes like Pineview Lodge in Nipawin, New Market Place in Tisdale and Parkland Place in Melfort also having limited visitation

Family members or support people will be permitted only for compassionate reasons with no other visitors allwed into facilties at this time.

Those permitted inside will have to undergo a health screening prior to entering and they must be wearing a medical grade mask.
