39 deaths reported in the latest provincial COVID-19 update

Saskatchewan has released its latest COVID-19 update for the past two weeks between October 23 to November 5.

Within the last two weeks, there have been 39 deaths in the province from the COVID-19 virus.

There have been 358 hospitalizations with 35 of those patients being admitted to the ICU.

There have been 1400 positive COVID-19 cases reported in the last two weeks.

There have also been 34 COVID-19 outbreaks.

As of November 5, the COVID-19 test positivity rate sits at 9.9 per cent.

For influenza, there have been 260 confirmed cases in the last two weeks.

Influenza’s test positivity rate sits at 21.8 per cent.

There have been no deaths from influenza reported.
