Regina Trades and Skills Centre receives second straight Consumer Choice Award

For the second straight year, the Regina Trades and Skills Centre has won a Consumer Choice Award for a school in the Career and Business category.

RTSC Executive Director Brian Shankowsky says it’s an honour to have won the award once again.

“We take it very seriously and we are very honoured to have received that recognition,” stated Shankowsky.

Shankowsky believes this award could help recruit more students to the school.

“On the other end of it for us, the employers that hear we have received the award are very interested in working with us in terms of gaining their entry-level employees.”

RTSC has also been impacted by COVID-19. Shankowsky says they needed to cancel five courses from March until May because of the pandemic, but adds they have re-opened and are now providing three courses this month.
