Youth Rally Planned to Kick off Provincial Grey Cup Festivities

With the Grey Cup arriving in Saskatchewan yesterday, and the matchup being set for sunday between the Bombers and Argos – It’s time to get the party in the heartland started!
Provincially, things get kicked off today with what’s being called a “high energy youth empowerment event” for Grade 7 and 8 students from Saskatoon and Northern Saskatchewan. The rally will feature indigenous entertainment, inspirational messages from athletes and a appearance by the Grey Cup.
The event happens today at Merlis Belsher Place in Saskatoon with festivities kicking off 1 PM.
Tomorrow Earl Gray’s Mug will make it’s way down highway 11, making a few stops along the way on the trek from Saskatoon to Regina. Police force members from both Regina and Saskatoon, alongside the canadian military will escort the cup at 11:30 am tomorrow morning with the following stops:1:45 p.m. – Davidson

2:35 p.m. – Chamberlain

3:15 p.m. – Lumsden

The cup will then arrive in Regina for the Sirius XM Kickoff Party.
