A man and a woman are facing attempted murder charges following an investigation into a weapons offence.
A 30-year-old man is in hospital suffering from serious injuries.
On August 1st, 2020 at approximately 4:45 pm, Regina Police responded to Krauss Street for a report of a weapons offence, which happened outside the residence. When police arrived, they found a man who was taken to hospital.
No suspects were located at the scene, but continued investigation led to the identification of suspects in the case. The investigation led to a residence on Wolfe Place on August 2nd, where a man and woman were arrested and subsequently charged.
22-year-old Dominick Mark Cochrane, and 23-year-old Angelica Violet Taypotat, both from Regina, have been charged with attempted murder using a firearm.
Cochrane has been charged in addition with the possession of a firearm while prohibited to do so.
