Woman steals merchandise after threatening staff with bladed weapon at Regina business

Regina police are investigating a robbery that occurred last Friday at a store on the 900 block of Albert Street.

At about 8:51 p.m. on October 30, police received a report of a robbery at a business on that block. Early information suggested a woman left the store after showing a handmade bladed weapon and refusing to pay for merchandise. No employees were physically injured.

Police say the woman was described as 30 to 35 years old, standing at approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing about 140 pounds, wearing all black clothing and a black hat. The woman was last seen walking westbound on 4th Avenue, however police were unable to locate the suspect.
