Prairie Valley School Division is announcing a person connected to Greenall High School in Balgonie has tested positive for COVID-19.

The school division did not say whether the positive case came from a student or a staff member, but they say they will be working with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to ensure students are protected.

Public health will be contacting parents or guardians of students and any other staff or volunteers who may have been in close contact with the COVID-19 patient.

Classes will resume at Greenall on Monday after a thorough cleaning over the weekend. Prairie Valley says they have reached out to families at the school.
