There are 29 new cases of COVID-19 being announced Tuesday with four of them in Regina.
That means the city now has 34 active cases of the virus meaning Regina now tops the list of zones when it comes to active cases at 34. Regina has now seen 21 active cases in the last seven days with many of those coming from the K-Bro linens facility.
17 of the 29 cases are coming from Saskatoon with 11 of those in a communal living setting just outside the city. The Southwest region has four new cases with the South Central region having three and the Northwest zone having one.
The province says there are 29 more recoveries putting the provincial total at 1,294 with 165 cases being active.
Eleven people are in hospital. Six people are receiving inpatient care; three in Saskatoon, one in Regina, one in the Southwest and one in South Central. Five people are in intensive care; three in Saskatoon, one in the North Central region and one in the Southwest.
927 tests were performed in Saskatchewan Monday.
