The 36th Santa Claus Parade will be taking over Regina this afternoon.

The parade starts at noon. It’ll begin at Wheaton Kia and will go along 2nd Avenue North and Albert Street.

The parade will continue up Albert Street until 7th Avenue North.

Santa will then be dropped off at the Northgate Mall parking lot.

Children will be able to bring their letters to Santa and they can drop them off in Canada Post boxes that will be stationed along to route.

For two hours between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Albert Street from 2nd Avenue North to 7th Avenue North will be closed to traffic. The Northgate Mall entrance will also be restricted during those hours.
