When investigators linked Hahn to the offences, warrants were obtained for his arrest and his identity and photo were made public.

However it was an officer that noticed him on August 13 when Hahn was riding a bicycle and approaching a multi-unit residence on the 3600 block of East Haughton Road at about 9:14 p.m.

When Hahn was leaving the building parkade with a different bicycle, police set up a perimeter with the RPS canine team on scene and made the arrest without incident.
