The Regina Pats are hoping they have found someone to play alongside Connor Bedard.
On Wednesday morning, the team announced they have sent their first round pick in the 2021 prospects draft to Lethbridge for 18-year-old winger Zack Stringer
Stringer has 17 goals and 35 assists in 79 WHL regular-season games including last year when he 14 points in 23 games in an abbreviated season. During the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign, he had five goals and nine assists in 23 games.
The 6-foot-0, 170-pounder was chosen by Lethbridge in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2018 bantam draft.
The Pats begin training camp September 1.
