Hail insurance adjustors are looking at more than 327 crop damage claims in the first 10 days of August.
The president of the Canadian Crop Hail Association, Scott McQueen, says the early August storms caused light to medium damage in central and northern Saskatchewan and Alberta.
He says the biggest hail storm in Saskatchewan so far this summer was July 22nd, with many claims in the central and northern grainbelt.
McQueen says claims numbers are down but actual payments are higher than the five year average.
He says average hail insurance claim payouts are at a 10 year high this summer.
