Taser used by Regina Police in Friday night arrest

Police were told the woman was outside of the business and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The woman was yelling and screaming and causing a disturbance.

When police arrived, the woman was holding syringe in her hand and threatening to harm herself. Officers attempted to negotiate with her, directing her to drop the syringe. The woman refused to follow police direction.
