There’s a new political party in the province, that has been officially registered with Elections Saskatchewan.
The Saskatchewan United Party completed the requirements to be a political party as of Wednesday.
The leader is Nadine Wilson, a former Sask Party MLA from Saskatchewan Rivers, who resigned from their caucus in 2021 for misrepresenting her vaccine status. The party’s official agent is listed at Pat Rutherford.
The party’s official office is in Lloydminster.
Wilson has sat as an independent MLA since leaving caucus.
