It took a few days, but Indian Head RCMP have arrested a man and woman that were the subjects of a Saskatchewan crime watch advisory issued Sunday night.
In a news release issued Tuesday afternoon, RCMP say 26-year-old Jenna Miller and 27-year-old Dustin Bowers were arrested in the town, about 45 minutes east of Regina on the Trans-Canada Highway, early Tuesday morning.
RCMP had been looking for the two after numerous property crime offences that occurred in the area around the town.
They are facing charges including possession of stolen property, theft under $5000 and fraudulent use of a credit card. Bowers has been charged with six additional firearms and weapons offences. They include unlawfully possessing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a weapon dangerous to the public peace. Police recovered a modified .22 calibre rifle that was classified as a prohibited firearm.
Both appeared in court in Indian Head on Tuesday and are being held in custody for future court appearances.
