A 72-year-old man is dead after being hit by a train in Yorkton.

RCMP in the city say it happened Monday night just after 8 o’clock near Betts Avenue.

The man was taken to hospital with injuries considered life-threatening. He died from those injuries yesterday.

The name of the man is not being released

While Yorkton RCMP say they have wrapped up their investigation, CP Rail police are continuing with theirs.
