The first COVID-19 outbreak in the CFL’s season will cause this Thursday’s game between the Edmonton Elks and Toronto Argonauts to be postponed.
The CFL says that multiple Elks players have tested positive for the virus, however they did not say how many.
The news broke after the team canceled it’s practice on Sunday.
The CFL said the team will not practice or travel until Chief Medical Officers and public health officials have assured the league it is safe for them to do so.
