Province comes to terms with HSAS on new contract

The province has come to terms with the Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan on a new six year contract.

The deal, which retroactively runs from 2018 to 2024, sees no wage increase in the first two years of the deal with increases of one percent in the third year and two percent in the final three years.

In a release from the government, Health Minister Jim Reiter says the agreement ensures these valued health professionals can continue providing important healthcare services to Saskatchewan residents.

The Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan represents more than 4000 specialized health care professionals in more than 30 professions, province-wide, delivering care in acute care, long-term care, primary health care and emergency medical services.
