The “Dog River” elevator in Rouleau has been destroyed by fire.
Early beliefs are the blaze was caused by an electrical failure.
The fire started early Friday morning.
Part-Owner Nathan Beam said he learned of the fire around 2:00 a.m.
Rouleau is about 50 kilometres south of Regina.
The community was made famous by the TV show Corner Gas.

Beam said the elevator was built in the 1970’s. and was operation throughout the 80’s, recently it was being used for storage.
