A 23-year-old woman is facing multiple charges after Regina Police spotted a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed near Albert Street and Dewdney Avenue just before 5:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

A vehicle stop was attempted but the driver did not pull over, evading police.

A spike belt was then deployed and the vehicle stopped near Broad Street and 6th Avenue.

As a result 23-year-old Natahni Paquachan, was arrested and is facing a total of five charges including flight from a peace officer and impaired operation of a vehicle.

Paquachan will make her first court appearance in September.
