The Regina Pats have announced the signing of 2020 CHL Import selection Stanislav Svozil to a contract.

The 18-year-old defenceman was taken with the 15th overall pick in the import draft.  He was taken in the 3rd round of 2021 NHL Entry Draft by Columbus and has already signed a three-year deal with them.

Svozil has represented the Czech Republic at several international tournaments including the 2021 World Juniors and Under 18 championship.

The Pats begin training camp on September 1 with their first pre-season game being September 10th against the Winnipeg Ice at the Co-Operators Centre.
