The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon will take place over the next two days on 25 radio stations across Saskatchewan, including 620 CKRM, play92, and 104.9 The Wolf.
The yearly fundraiser is one that is very important when it comes to raising funds for urgent needs.
“The radiothon really provides a glimpse into what life within the walls of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital really looks like.” Boback-Lane sai. “Over the next two days, we will be sharing inspirational stories of children and families who require the care that the hospital provides.
Boback-Lane says this year, money raised goes to critical programming which will enhance provincial pediatric trauma care, improve epilepsy services, and increase capacity in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Saskatoon hospital. It is hoped that the radiothon can surpass last year’s total of $640,000.
